If you have two Mosers already, then maybe explore other options before automatically choosing the Pioneer. Speaking of which, as much as I like it, the high domed crystal makes the watch a bulky ~15mm thick, which goes against the elegance element you’re aiming for.

Have you looked at the Girard-Perregaux Laureatos or the Piaget Polo S?
What about the original Parmigiani Metrographe or Kalpa?
Has a pre-owned Vacheron Constantin Overseas (47040/49150) been ruled out?
Seeing as you have the 45mm RD Excalibur, then you could also consider the Piaget Polo 45.

Yes I am also doubting that one more Moser will be a bit to much Fumé :-) in my small collection.
I had a Laureato but sold it earlier this year I wasn’t so enthusiastic anymore. I owned it only for 10 months and took a small loss and upgraded my collection with the Concept Blue Lagoon.
I’m still really enjoying every other watch I own although the Tank doesn’t get much wrist time anymore but a classic and my first ‘luxury’ watch I bought more than 20 years ago.
I will definitely check out the Parmigiani watches. The Piaget Polo and Overseas are great watches and nothing is ruled out.

I also have an IWC Portifino by the way.

Love the collection, but I think you may want to branch out from Moser, their sports line pretty much looks like their dress models. I really like them, but why not get a different style watch. If you don’t want to get a Royal Oak (which is a great option), take a look at Blancpain, their bathyscaphe model may interest you. Breguet Marine is a really cool sports line as well.

Buy what speaks to you. There is no such thing as too much Fume, especially when that means Cosmic green. If you like the Moser, get the Moser.

If you want other suggestions, I can highly recommend Blancpain. Their Fifty fathoms line is very highly finished and definitely falls into the elegant sport watch category (especially if you get a 40mm limited edition model). The VC overseas and Breguet Marine are other great watches as well.

The great thing about the fifty fathoms, overseas and marine are they are all criminally underappreciated, and represent great value used. No lists. No wait times. No premium. No sucking up to salesmen, begging fit an allotment.

Two Mosers in a four watch collection is a lot of Mosers. Three Mosers in a five watch collection is even more Mosers.

Can’t really subscribe to the notion that a Blancpain FF (nor Bathyscaphe) qualify as elegant sport watch – not in the same vein as RO/Nautilus/Overseas (pre 3rd Gen).

Justindo, it’d be 2 in 5/3 in 6 – you forgot his IWC. Even so, if Moser is hitting all the right notes for him, then that’s all that matters.

Upon further thinking, here’s a couple of others that might qualify as “elegant sports”…

I’m the opposite. I don’t think I’d consider the RO “elegant”. It’s too utilitarian in its design language (that’s not a bad thing).

The Blancpain FF Bathyscaphe is a great collection I really like the gold one.

During this week I will go back to the AD. They have Brequet, Ulysse Nardin, Roger Dubius, Parmigiani, Hublot, Harry Winston, Girard Perreqaux, Corum and H Moser.

I will keep you updated :-)
