New BMW G20 330i
Perhaps some of you guys can recall my post back in March making mention of the family problems I was having in buying a new motor at 88 years, this year.
Cannot now find the post, it’s appears missing! Did I say something? Have been driving a 320D F30 for nearly 7 years and fancied the new BMW 3 Series G20 330i. Petrol, a change from diesel. Well eventually I placed my order on the local BMW Dealership and after 10 weeks I collected a few days ago! It’s like buying a new Rolex! As we don’t get much snow in these parts I went for rear wheel drive only but importantly it has an electronic limited slip differential which should help movement in the snow. Might not need winter wheels! Well, the new G20 is in my opinion a deal of an improvement on the F30. It’s quieter, smoother runner, steering a great improvement perhaps not equalling the hydraulic E90 but still pretty good, holds the road well around corners, better seating, nicer inside and looks great outside. Portimao Blue, beautiful! And it’s high tech! Certainly glad I splashed out and the family like it! And now for some driving! |

Beautiful car and color! I saw one yesterday for the first time (in white) and liked the lines. The grill still takes some getting used to!

Beautiful car. I was seriously considering buying one but ended up putting my purchase on hold and upgrading the family car.
I hope you really enjoy driving it for many years.

Love it! Just talked to a friend about this car and how beautiful it looks. Is it roomier inside? It looks bigger than the previous gen. The rear also looks fantastic. Almost has something in common with the new Lexus ES/GS

Your previous post is here Peter.
Is that the new Portimao Blue? It’s about time they retired Estoril. Lovely colour.
