The price is fair based on the market.
The rest is up to you to decide.

Only you can decide that.

Personally, I am not paying over MSRP for any Rolex. That includes models no longer in production.

For me, I understand that means I will either be waiting a long time or maybe never getting any SS models.

I am ok with that.

It's a totally overhyped watch and so is the price...

Don't buy it would be my advise.

BLNR is one of my favorites in my collection. It’s worth the retail price but it’s hard for me to justify the grey market price.

Doesn’t matter if it’s overhyped (or not). If the OP likes it, the price will likely long term just go up.

Well as i can see, people are paying over 15k for Batman, watch looks great, but it indeed is a bit pain to pay that much over MSRP

Are you looking to keep it as an ‘investment’ or are you in love with the watch? If the latter then I guess it’s worth it.

What do you care about what people here say? It’s about whether you like the watch or not. If you’re going to put it in a safe then I don’t know, but if you’re going the wear it and you can’t get it from an AD and want it now, then go for it.

The oyster BLNR is discontinued so any comparison to MSRP is stupid. 12k Euro is a decent price

Compared to the new jubilee BLNR, well market price is more than double MSRP and it’s impossible to buy one at MSRP unless you are a super VIP. Oyster BLNR is more popular will probably exceed jubilee BLNR prices once things calm down on the jubilee version and more get out there

It could be a great deal. On the other hand it could be a really bad deal. You give us hardly any info. What kind of answers do you expect OP?

I question myself whenever I think about buying the BLRO or SubC LV at grey market prices - do I want them because I love the watch and it will be next to impossible to get from my AD or is it the hype that makes me think I should get it now before the grey prices reach the level that I will never be able to justify the expense.

Rolex SS shortage has made it very easy to buy a $9k watch for $16k; wear it till the novelty wears off and sell it for same or even more.

I am not falling for it just yet. I want to buy, wear and enjoy my watches. If you are buying for the “right” reasons, it is easy to justify the grey market prices - these are beautiful watches, I mean jewelry...

You’re asking for help because you’re not sure . I would be patient the watch is not mint and there will be other deals out there . I believe you’re not comfortable with this watch . Good luck !

I know from personal experience that the longer you wait these watches seem to get more expensive...

Exactly...... paying over msrp sucks..but the market price is determined because people are actually willing to pay that price. If you want it and can afford it then buy it and wear it. Now if you want the 2019 version then I would wait and try and grab at msrp.

Buy it.... if you like the watch. BLNR prices would only go higher since its discontinued.
The new version is on jubilee bracelet which some people are not a fan. Good luck.

It’s amazing watch and that’s the market price.I cannot see it coming down in price anytime soon, possibly appreciating further.
Two things to think about, they are not making it anymore and there seems a general consensus that people prefer the oyster bracelet over the jubilee.
Buy it if you like as life is too short, you will love the watch as I do,one of my favourites in my collection.
Make sure the watch has the correct papers and documents at that price.
