Finally, a nice day for a bike ride!

It's been raining a lot here since April so I take every opportunity on good days to get out there. Today that's exactly what I did down by the lake (Lake Ontario) and it was very refreshing!

Very pretty!

Superdog lives in our area code and it’s been raining constantly in NJ.
Today was a rare pretty day.

Sadly no pictures of the bike. The one I have is nothing special but has upgraded suspension front and rear. Air suspension on the back really soaks up some of those bumps.

I don't do hardcore trail riding but some of the unpaved roads by the lake are REALLY rough, some huge potholes. That makes for a more fun ride though!

My ideal bike would be the Santa Cruz V10

We're in close proximity and it seems the weather has been brutal in this geographic location the past few months. Today it's grey skies and rain

Awesome! On the waterfront trail you can ride along the lake for most of Toronto East to Pickering. Once you get by the Nuclear plant area though you need to take some back streets to continue heading East towards Oshawa.

You can find some nice side trails great for off road riding too! Nothing hardcore like downhill but some sections can be fun / dangerous. Drive to one of the parks near the trail so you've got a secure spot to park your car and head out

I'm willing to bet it was FREEZING cold. It wasn't even that warm outside and hasn't been all spring. The pollution sort of scares me so I keep my swim sessions indoors at the recreation complex

Sorry, I didn't capture any. I was so busy taking in the scenery I didn't even manage to get a wrist shot.

Indeed! Such a shame it hasn't been like this more often lately

I found out the hard way that long weekends and holidays are the absolute worst time to hit the trails. People everywhere, dogs everywhere, you have to keep stopping and nobody moves.

Wow, very cool! That had to be one heck of an adventure! Nothing special here just yet but I'm certainly working towards changing this!

Thanks! I sure did and made sure to cherish it. From the looks of things with regards to the weather forecast that's it for me cycling until next week (hopefully).
