Explorer I strap fitting?
When I try to put a leather strap or a NATO on my Explorer 1 36mm 114270, the space between the spring bar and the case is too small for the band to fit. It either doesn't fit at all, or the case rubs against the band and damages it.
Has anyone else had this issue, and found any solutions? |

It's a common issue with some six-digit models. A thinner strap or a strap with a fitted end will work, as will curved springbars. If it fits but the case is abrading the strap, a little foil tape or something similar over the sharp case edge will prevent the damage.
