I don't think I have ever posted an incoming thread on these forums. Its remiss of me.

However now I think is the right time. In honour of my lovely, amazing and gorgeous wife. We went to an AP dinner recently and one of the other female guests was wearing this watch and my wife fell in love with it after trying it on etc.

So I had to get it for her. AP as usual delivered for me and we picked it up today. She wanted an oversized watch and I guess this is it

The strap is a too large and AP have ordered a small version which should come next week.

Really like the grey and gold combo back from the RGRC days, many congrats! You think your strap's grey shade is the same as the 44 TI one, maybe yours is lighter?

I thinks its lighter. Maybe even 2 shades lighter.

I thinks it a mans model (its 42mm and the standard strap is way too large for her) but nowadays who knows.

Actually this is the second time in less than a year that I had an appointment to collect an AP and then out of the blue I got a call for a Patek as well. The last time it was a Ceramic Offshore (26405CE) and a Patek 5711

Need to book more AP appointments lol
