How dangerous to wear Deepsea blue or batman on San Sebastián or Madrid?
Ok i used to has deepsea 116660 black for daily beater and wear them everywhere. But I recently trade that in for deepsea blue 126660.. however its beautiful and hard to treat as beater watch. I am traveling to San Sebastián spain and madrid but i kind of feel little bit worried after watching numbers of video on instagram. So If i have to take one pc i want to take deepsea blue or batman. What you guys think? Am I overreacting? Or should i just take casio? By the way Im going to nice restaurant so I don’t want to underdresse as well. Positive vibe only!

Insure it and drive on. I guess never carry or wear anything on your person that you are not willing to part with.

I think you'll be fine. I've been all over the shady parts of Spain, France, and Italy wearing my Rolex and Omega. Just use your instincts.... research parts of town you shouldn't be in prior to your trip....tripadvisor is good for this; don't travel on foot alone; nothing good happens after midnight/2am/etc; don't be a target....You get the point. Insure the thing yesterday if you haven't already.

I am from Spain, nothing will happen to you that can not happen to you in other capitals of Europe. Spain is a safe place, only precaution in places not recommended as in any country. Enjoy our good restaurants and our weather. You are in one of the best countries in Europe.

How dangerous? Not at all.
There's even an AD in Madrid, so the Madrilenos aren't afraid to buy and wear, either.

I got in an altercation the other night, 10 minutes from home. Things worked out. However, bad things can happen anywhere. Wear it, enjoy it and be careful.
As other have stated, trust your instincts and don't venture off if it doesn't feel right. When I travel, I carry an "anti theft" drawstring pack and pop my watch and wallet in there, if I'm in a crowd where I'll be bumped into a lot. |

I’ve spent time in both locations and never had an issue. Situational awareness and don’t get distracted and you’ll be fine. In any location these people work in teams. Methodology? Strangers abruptly changing course in front of you, people merging from left or right in your path and violating your space, people getting too close. Over friendly people, youngsters coming to ask the time or some vague question. These are all signs that something isn’t right. Again, situational awareness and just common sense works everywhere.

A couple of years ago I spent one week out of every month in Madrid. Wonderful city, very friendly people, I never felt unsafe and never had any problems. Basic common sense and situational awareness and you’ll be fine.
