Fake audemars piguet on ebay

Hi all

This is a terrible fake that I have reported TWICE to eBay, but it's still there!

...please tell us...

...why you say it's fake.

...Tony, I for one, know NOTHING about this brand.

...is it possible to put up a pic of a couple of "genuine" like this one, for us novices??

Thanks, Stan.

I am not a AP expert but I do happen to own a blue face non-chrono.

On my AP the caseback says "Royal Oak" which is this series.

Also, I thought the hour markers should be white (not lime green) on the white faced dials.

But I may be completely wrong.

Hi Stan & Pav

Here's a link to a real one (albeit overpriced!! )

http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?wid=7728S

Note how on the fake eBay one, the screws on the caseback are engraved & not real 18K white gold screws. The fake on eBay is just a dog all round. I have reported it about five times to eBay & it's still there!!

Some schmuck is going to get horribly ripped off.

...the AP that is listed on eBay UK...

...appears to have FAKE screws on the case back-either painted on or lightly etched.

...what a SCAM.

...I don't think LADY CASPER would care much for this.
