I have all 3 and it wears smaller than the Sub and GMT but a perfect fit for my 6.5" wrist.

I have a 15450, 14060 (pre-ceramic submariner) and a 116610ln (ceramic submariner date). I can take more photos tomorrow, but for now, you can see how they all compare here. To me, the 15450 and 14060 fit the same

I don't understand how it looks so big on these pictures. When I tried it on it was way smaller than the GMT Master 2, way way smaller.

u tried on gmtii in current supercase form or prior gen?
it's definitely larger if supercase, but not markedly different than prior gen, imho.

I was in the market for a 15450 but decided to pass as I found it wore small compared to for example my 116520.

The newer GMTS have the maxi case so they are a bit bigger than my Pepsi 1675.

Same here. I've gone through the same cycle a few times now - saw pictures where the size looks just fine compared to Daytona etc, went to try one at AP AD/boutique, looked like a kid's watch, wait a few months, repeat... Here again it looks fantastic in pictures!

I had the same experience. I tried on a gold/diamond bezel 15450 at the Botique since that’s all they had in stock and it felt pretty small. I don’t know if the diamond bezel made it look smaller or what. I love the look of it in pictures and it looks similar to modern 39mm models but felt smaller on me when on my wrist (7”+)

May I respectfully inquire from 15450 owners if the watch only comes with 8 links? I got mine wrapped in the original plastic and there are only 8 links installed. It’s a bit tight on my 6.5-ish inch wrist.

15450 size has been debated many times. Some claim it wears like a pre-ceramic or daytona, others incl myself think it wears a lot smaller. Its a weird watch imo. Case size to dial size makes this piece weird. Incomparable with nothing i know. Forget (close-up) pics, they wont help. I guess its the royal oak to get for anyone with slim wrists (<6,25) but I strongly recommend you try one on before you buy it.

I ('7+ wrists) didnt, thought it would wear like a daytona and had to get a 15400 afterwards because the 15450 was way to small for me.

Agree with the comments above... the 450 looks fantastic on close up wrist pics online.. even looks like a great size when compared side by side with some larger ref watches. But when you put it on in person, it wears a lot smaller. When I tried it on, I thought it wore much smaller than my daytona, for example. I kept wondering if they gave me a 33mm to try on instead

I agree 1000%... was totally disappointed by this and then the illusion that it is abnormally thick bc of the height proportional to diameter.
