Rolex for wife but may need extra links
Hi all,
I have a question about obtaining additional links for an older Rolex. I know this type of question has been asked often but I searched quite a bit and couldn’t find a clear enough answer. A little background. So I think I found a decent deal on a ladies Rolex for my wife. I tried to check all her boxes and keep the price reasonable. She likes a vintage feel. She likes the two tone (gold/silver) look. She doesn’t like the cyclops of the Datejust and she prefers an oyster style bracelet over the jubilee. She also likes a fluted bezel. I found an Oyster Perpetual reference 67193 with papers dated 1998. I am far from an expert on OPs or ladies’ references, but this one just seems to fit what she likes. It’s got a two tone Oyster style bracelet that I think she will really like. Unfortunately, it does not come with extra links and I’m afraid it may be too small for her wrist. I live near a Rolex Service Center. So my question is if I were to bring this watch and papers to them, how likely is it that they’ll have or be able to source the correct links for this watch, particularly considering it’s over 20 years old? Nothing unusual or different about 20 year old links. An AD could likely order some and the RSC may sell them too.

Awesome news. Thanks! Was just a little worried that maybe some bracelets become obsolete and I’d be stuck with a watch that didn’t fit her!
