Incoming Octo Finissimo
I don't normally show off a new acquisition but felt like I wanted to show-off my new Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic in Titanium. I have been looking at this watch ever since it was released in 2017, having tried it on a number of times and purchased a few watches ahead of it in the meantime. On the weekend i dropped past the local AD and tried it on again but this time decided to go for it (The deal I was offered helped a lot too).
The industrial design with sharp corners / facets everywhere and the stark yet very legible face are something to behold. Flipping it over to view the display back is a sight to behold, a very well finished movement (especially at this price point) and that gorgeous Platinum micro rotor, I find I am taking it off the wrist quite often just to look at the back. It wears very light on the wrist and is a bit of a shock for me as I am used to wearing heavy dive watches. Still getting used to the weight (or lack of) but enjoying the feeling. According to the specs the watch weighs in at 73grams and is 5.15mm thick, Just for reference the crystal on my Rolex DSSD is 5mm thick! Anyway thanks for looking |

That is awesome...I’ve tried it on numerous times too, but unlike you have never pulled the trigger. Congrats!

Congrats, fantastic watch. I was really pleasantly surprised by the finishing and the quality of the bracelet when I tried one on a couple months back.

Congratulations it’s a really cool piece. An ultra thin sports watch with an original design and a micro rotor to boot.

Great piece. Resizing the bracelet is a bit of a pain in the neck but otherwise I love mine. Perfect summertime watch.

Big congratulations.
Count me among those that have tried it on and have spent time considering it. It has a magnificent presence on the wrist

Love this watch. It's too big for me or I would own one already. 6 inch wrist. Congratulations OP. Super jealous.

Yeah, I resized mine last night after a few days wearing, took a link out, wasn't as painful as i feared but certainly not as easy as resizing a Rolex. Winter Here in the Southern hemisphere, we are looking forward to summer

It does have a great wrist presence, you're right and yet because of the subdued / matt finish, I don't believe it attracts the eye as much as some of the polished SS / PM watches.

It does wear large on the wrist because of the flat(ish) shape. I am "blessed" with a larger wrist and am used to wearing my Sea-Dwellers so this is ok. |

Gorgeous Platinum Micro-Rotor
Managed to get a reasonable shot of the Platinum micro-rotor, going to have to break out the macro lens on the weekend for a better shot.
