126710 BLRO Pepsi on Oyster Glidelock- the perfect watch?

Here is my grail. SS Pepsi on a Sub C glidelock bracelet that I sourced. This could be the perfect watch IMO.

Only question is do I have my watchmaker polish the center links? Will that be too much like the WG version?

Glidelock is probably the greatest bracelet option of all time, so it is going to stay on this Pepsi for the foreseeable future . . .

That looks great, brushed oyster is perfect for the GMT.

FYI the Oyster/Glidelock bracelet fits perfect using the jubilee bracelet’s springbars

This watch looks miles better on the Oyster.

The brushed bracelet looks perfectly fine to me.

Never should a jubilee be on a sports watch, just my 0.02.

It's not the perfect watch though, notwithstanding it is still a great one. Its big brother the WG BLRO with the blue dial is pretty close to perfect though.

I would have to disagree, think the jubilee on this watch is the way to go but that’s just me...and I guess Rolex too Oyster would serve as a good change of pace bracelet though.

Glad you’re happy with it, enjoy

As much as some hate it this is by far the best clasp for me I 100% dig the tuna.

I think it looks fantastic just the way you have it. If you want to dress it back up, put it back on the jubilee , otherwise, I'd say leave the oyster brushed.

Using the jubilee spring bars, is there any movement on the bracelet, or does it fit like a glove?

Blue skies!

Have someone ever seen a brushed jubilee bracelet? Doesn't sound like it would look good but one never knows.

Fits like an absolute glove, perfect fit. Zero movement.

Jubilee is pretty nice too. A lot lighter weight than Oyster. But it is soooo shiny and flashy I just don’t get that “sport” vibe as much as it seems “dressy.”

I hear ya, part of it I think is the first Pepsi I ever saw in the flesh was a 16710 on the jubilee and I got hooked on how awesome it looks...can't go wrong either way though

It's funny, I prefer the BLNR on PCL Oyster, but prefer the BLRO on brushed oyster. It's the perfect watch in this configuration. I'd give up my Batman for this combo if I didn't have to purchase 2 watches to make it happen.

Not true, I wouldn’t say perfect. The spring bar size is too small for the end links, however it will still work. I am told it will cause uneven wear on the spring bar holes

Not sure how there would be any additional wear in spring bar holes when there is zero play in the fitment. It literally fits exactly flush and the same as on my sub c. (I also have a sub c with its own Oyster Glidelock bracelet and comparing the way the two fit there is literally zero difference).

Looks great.
As for it has to be on jubilee, well that,s only because Rolex sell it that way, they also sell some PM Daytonas and yachtmasters on rubber now, again does it have to be that way?
If this watch had been released on rubber then once again, it would have to be that way.

Jubilee is classic for the GMT model, pays homage to its roots and it works.

I remember 2 years ago when people where salivating for this model.....and they still are.

i’m doing this the second i receive my 126710. my mother has “borrowed” my Hulk, so i’m gonna swap the jubilee onto the hulk, glidelock the pepsi, and have all three of my GMTs (116710blnr, 126710blro, 126719blroM) on oyster.

fantastic look.
