Got the Call - 126710BLNR BATMAN!!

I have been on multiple “waiting lists” for about 2 years. I’ve been stopping by nearly every AD in my travels looking at empty cases and perplexed faces. Yesterday I’m out entertaining some clients and my guy CALLS me and says...”Hello my friend. I know you’ve been on the list for the Black and Blue GMT for a while, but how do you feel about the NEW VERSION ON THE JUBILEE?!?”

I said “My man - I am all about it”

He said “DO YOU WANT IT?!” (almost had to sit down lol)

I said “YES! I’ll take it if you can get it!!!”

He had it in his hands 3hrs later. Texted me a pic “It’s yours!” and I was like WOW. Boom went to the bank this morning and got a cashiers check and picked it up this afternoon. Love the piece and totally stoked about the 70hr power reserve. Originally I was not a fan of the looks of the jubilee but now, after wearing it for several hours, I find it a thing of beauty and comfort! What a blessing. God is good. Will add pics when I get the kids to bed!

Regards,
B

Glad to hear your patience has paid off! It’s an awesome feeling, isn’t it? Looking forward to pics.

What’d made you opt for the cashier’s check route? You could’ve gotten some miles/points/cash-back out of the transaction.

Congrats!

I’ve had mine for about 6 weeks and I’m loving it. I must have had about 30 Rolexes but never one with a jubilee bracelet before. Visually, I preferred the oyster and thought the Batman on jubilee looked wrong. Now I’ve got it I appreciate the comfort and extra ventilation. Also, the oyster bracelet with super case looks quite blocky where the first link meets the case - the jubilee breaks that up nicely.

Congratulations! The BLNR (first the oyster version and now the jubilee version) have been my favorite Rolexes that I thought could be obtainable — meaning, my grail watch that actually could come to fruition.

It did happen to me about 3 weeks ago. I have compared to a clients oyster BLNR side by side and he and I both agreed we liked the jubilee more (he now is trying to get one).

I hope you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine. All the best!
