Adding Reverso to Rolex SS team
Thoughts on adding this burgundy boutique edition Reverso to my all sport SS Rolex team (Daytona 116500 white and black, BLRO, BLNR, and SD4K) as my dress watch?
Or "better" to go with standard blue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk9 |

The blue may be a easier wear overall, but either is lovely. The 27.5mm case looks great on your wrist. All in all, a Reverso is a MUST ;)

Either. Both great watches. With that said - I’d pick the blue dial. Congrats!

I am struggling with the same dilemma. I love that burgundy dial, but I imagine the blue will get more wrist time?

Burgundy all the way. Too much blue floating around nowadays. Also, I personally feel like flat colors fit the reverso better than sunburst.

Not a big fan of the burgundy, I would go with blue but really your preference.

Red is iconic. Blue is boring.

Love the reverso. I have a couple with complications & a larger case.
I think it makes a great dress watch. Burgundy is the bolder choice and probably more desirable down the road. Can’t argue against the blue. Either will be a winner.

Whatever choice will be great. I have a standard white dial reverso that I have dressed down with some colorful fagliano straps that I love!

I like the burgundy dial. It maybe a little outside the comfort zone of the blue but why not have some fun.

Burgundy. I wonder how it works on a brown or grey strap.

Burgundy - think about what other watch you could have in your collection with that color. You can get blue from anyone

Love the Burgundy. It will be my next watch to add as well. Is this a boutique only model or can my/any AD who holds JLC order it as well?

I prefer a standard white/black dial if that’s your only Reverso.
Also, be aware that getting the OEM strap may be a pain in the future when it needs replacement, as you cannot buy it at a boutique, nor are they available online. |
