Stopped by and this one caught my attention.
This one was not anywhere on my radar, but seeing it in person sparked my interest. I didn’t buy today, but I keep looking back at it and thinking. It really does look even better in person. I love a lumed dial, but it makes up for it.

I love the Wimbledon with the fluted bezel. It just seems to do everything right for a Rolex in my eyes.

Nice. Just don't care for the Roman numerals. My choice would be Blue/ sticks/Smooth/Oyster. Just my .02.

It is definitely not a buy because it’s just there. I really had no interest in this one until I saw it in person. I am just feeling it out for a bit.

I actually came in thinking a blue 36mm OP. I never owned a 36mm and after so many classic pictures, I was thinking of trying it out. Like I said, the 41 Roman caught me off guard.

it definitly screams, UK green as i call it. I think any forest green on a Rolex pay homage to the horse racing, golf competiton sponsored events by Rolex. Its just not for everbody. I think you will take a MASSIVE loss if you sell it. You should be very careful with the forest green anything: dial, hour markers, hands etc.
I can most guarentee you, you're better off with the standard hour markers. |

I’m a Roman numeral guy myself. In my view they’re the most appealing on the DJs. The ubiquitous stick dials are ten a penny.

The Wimbledon is a handsome watch, especially without the fluted bezel. More understated and less flashy - IMHO.

Just please make sure you love it before you buy it, and not just interested in it because it is available. It could be a classic trap where in 6-12 months you write another post saying you are selling it from lack of wrist time. Think it through and pull the trigger if you really are infatuated with it. Just sayin brother, good luck!

the 9 o'clock marker looks out of place and would not buy the watch because of that
