Thanks people I will just have to go back to plumbing or pipefitting instead of selling the stuff. Others being laid off has no other skills they will be harder off than I.

It is really starting to hit home. I have a couple of family members who lost their jobs and I now know of a few friends who have lost or are close to losing their jobs, it's such a shame. Best of luck Troy with your search, sorry to hear the bad news.

It is getting bad out there! Everyday I'm worried if I will be in the next round of layoffs. Last week I had to fire my entire team - worst day I've had in a long time.
It's this kind of insecurity that is causing a lot of people to put off buying nice watches (or cars, or houses....). You just never know when the axe will fall.

Good luck.

The Alberta gravy train is over. I know some people who live in BC and work in Alberta. I read that Saskatchewan is the "it" province now. Good luck.

Sounds like a plan. Could you set up your own plumbing company?
