I just got caught with my polar 16750 in a sudden rain storm at a picnic. So glad I selected this instead of the speedy that I was wearing earlier - we were completely drenched, and it would have been ruined. Gotta hand it to rolex!

My first Rolex was the Polar Expl. II 5-digit version. I enjoyed it for many years and hope you do too.

I absolutely love my Polar Explorer II and am very glad it can handle the elements.

But out of curiosity, do you think that rain would wreck your speedy? I own both watches, and although I don't typically swim with or submerge my Speedy I promise it would be able to handle the rain.

Looks awesome man! Explorer II is the best sports watch you can get in my humble opinion. I have the black dial and would really like to add the polar too.

Enjoy the heck out of it.

Not going to lie as a previous owner of this I loved it, then again it was during a big watch phase and if I were to get another Id go for the 16570. Prices are creeping up for both and I think this is a watch that future generations will appreciate more than we do at present. A white faced ROLEX isn’t so common after all.
