I grew up listening to all sorts of music but a lot of it was from a very good friend of mine, who unfortunately is no longer with us, who was well into Rock and Roll as he grew up in the Teddy boy era and I was 20 years younger!

But there was one and only to him and that was the King. Jerry Lee rocks on!

Elvis, ok but pure Rock and Roll is Jerry Lee

And I have to agree. I managed to see him twice, each time he was late on stage, and the rumour outside to the freezing cold crowd was - well you can guess! But what a show!

He is a genius. I followed him through the country era as well but Jerry Lee rockin away is the best. In fact I am going to go and put some on now!

My friend who passed away had ' Whole lotta Shakin going on' played at his funeral.

Carry on listening and if you read this thread go try some. Its class!
