Is it safe to wear your Rolex around toddlers?

...and all the shameful looks from people as we take pictures of our watches instead of watching our children.
Haha, such is life!

We've had toddler related horror stories on this board before.
I think you're safe as long it's on your wrist, pretty much like every other questionable scenario.

It is less safe to NOT wear your Rolex around toddlers; as in leaving it within reach on kitchen counters, bath vanities and bedroom side table.

Of course, it is safe to wear around them. Just don't hand it to them

Hilarious! My only exception would be not to wear leather or NATO straps around toddlers — sticky fingers, diaper changes, etc.

Dogs are worse. Even super friendly ones can jump up and their claws can easily put scratches on brushed surfaces.

Oh my goodness...whenever I wear the Hulk or my 16710, my 4 year old gets this huge smile on his face, comes over and says "I love this watch daddy" and proceeds to turn the bezel about 100 times.
At least he's learning early!

Love this thread! I've had my watches drooled on, inadvertently smacked with toys, whacked a hard surface after the old Lego sabotage, and only a couple of hairline cratches and swirls. My biggest leap of faith was letting the little guys play with the chrono. "No no no, the other button first!" Kids love bezels and buttons.

Oh heck no! They love to swing their metal hot wheel cars arounds. Or that ‘Thomas the train’ with a metal magnet at each end!
