How do I politely get my AD to stop calling me?

It started out as just rare models or ones I was interested in but now I keep getting sales calls almost as bad as a car dealership.

I don't want to be rude in case I want a model they have in the future so I'm really in a hard spot.

Block the number. Or put up with it if you are really waiting for the call on a hard to get model. Personally I would just not answer.

Block Call should automatically send a caller to VoiceMail on an iPhone. Occasionally I'll even block a co-worker for a few days. Nothing seems to change on the other's end, as I've mostly stopped answering my phone.

Give them the number of the junkyard. The junkyard is always looking for steel objects to pound into blocks for resale to the auto industry.

Tell them which pieces you want and ask them what it’s going to take on your part to get them. Decide if you want to play ball and proceed, or tell them that their proposal doesn’t work for you and it’s no longer necessary to contact you. It’s really not that hard, it’s just buying a watch. Hoping that what you want is just going to happen with a magic organic phone call isn’t really a plan.

Tell them that there’s no one at home over the age of 18.

There are so many ways to get out of this.
Say that you’re not in a financial position to buy anything right now and that you’ll contact them when you’re ready.

Due to the nature of my work I simply do not answer my personal mobile unless it's a scheduled call.

So how about you tell him that unfortunately you are unable to take calls between time x and y, when x is your AD's opening time and y is their closing time. However tell him you're happy for him to leave you voicemails regarding what stock they're offering. That way you can simply ignore the messages about the stuff you've got no interest in but can still stay onside for the call you eventually do want to follow-up on.

I suppose it’s an unusual problem from my last few years reading about the majority of cases where the AD never calls.

Once you load all their phone numbers in your contacts, you’ll see who’s calling and can simply ignore the call. Voice Mail takes over and you’ll decide when/if you call back.

Ha Ha I can't imagine telling an AD to stop calling. Perhaps politely tell them the pieces you are interested in? Pretty good problem to have - most of the time its the exact opposite.

Call them up and ask for a daytona. Say you’re short on this months rent and eBay got your back.

This is a very delicate relationship you have to manage as you will need them when you want that hot model that comes out. Best thing is to make it clear which watches you are interested and which ones you arent in and then tell them to only call you when any of the ones you want come up
