Which 14060 would you want?
1. A pre 1999 2-liner with Tritium dial?
2. A 1999 and up 2 liner with luminova dial? 3. A the 4-liner 14060 with engraved rehaut and super luminova dial? There are arguments for either. The Tritium has the potential to develop patina, the 4 liner is more modern... |

I picked (and bought) #3. I wanted the most up to date configuration while still retaining the 5 digit aesthetics.

I bought a used D serial 14060M 2-liner because it was the best watch I could afford at the time. I also really really wanted it!
I wear it everyday and it does everything with me.

Does the Tritium 14060 qualify as vintage yet? The first batch were produced 30 years ago! There's not as much traffic in the Vintage forum so I rather stay here! haha

I chose 1 being I had 2 & 3, but my tastes have more so evolved to the earlier T-25 dials on Subs.

I have a 1996 14060, "2-liner" and tritium dial. I absolutely love it, but must admit I do sometimes get envious when I see some of the fantastic lume photos on this forum! The lume on mine is dead now, of course!

Mine is a 2 liner Z serial with superluminova and it glows like a torch. Wearing as I type.

4-liner, for reasons already mentioned... An argument for the 2-liner is often made due to its cleaner and uncluttered dial, but I’ve had my 16610 f/ 20 years so 4 lines is all that I’m accustomed to.

Ditto. But I don't know why people want the opinions of others who will not be wearing the watch. Your opinion (OP) is the only one that matters.

Either two liner.
Too much spec sheet garbage on today's dials.

2 Line for me. I went tritium since that's what most of my collection is and I'm looking forward to some patina.
