Need advice with Red Sub
Hey everyone, I was seriously considering buying this piece. Can I get your thoughts on the watch & dial. The serial number starts with 303XXXX dating it to around 1971.
Does it all look legit and original? Many thanks in advance for any help! Howie |

I looked at a very similar watch but a circa 1970 and it looked pretty much identical. Is the glass face risen up rather than leveled with the bezel? I think this is a great investment especially for the future and historical Rolex piece. Btw, just outta curiosity, how much is it going for?

Looks like a Breyler dial with semi-closed 6s. The serial number is correct for the time frame. I don't see anything off the top that would give me pause.

I would not mind a closer picture of "Submariner", the bottom of the "E" appears a bit long, but it could just be the angle of the photo.
