Legit check: bracelet and clasp

Hello!

I've found a Rolex bracelet and clasp from bankruptcy estate I recently bought. I need help to confirm if it's real or fake. I'm pretty sure that it's fake. I thought what could be better place to get confirm than forum with lot of Rolex enthusiasts. Thank you in advance!

It's real. The dash 18 on the clasp means 18k gold two tone. Looks like that was part of a two tone submariner. Circa 1980s or 90s. The gold looks good, has some stretch. Honestly that is going to be a money pit. But fun project if you like that sort of stuff. Any pics of the clasp and sides would be great.

Hmm. Maybe the gold is real. I would get it tested.

Your wrong it’s all fake you really need to do your research instead of giving the guy hope? I mean really? Look at crown guards, look at where crown goes? Look at the thread? You really think that’s rolex? Look at insert? Look at pearl? So much wrong with it

Look at the Rolex stamping on the clasp blade. If that looks real to you, time to go back to school. My 13 year old could produce a better example.

Yes, your initial hunch was correct.

Welcome to TRF - sometimes you will get bogus info but if you pause long enough for truly experienced eyes, you’ll get a good consensus...

LOVE how they couldn't get the insert printing centered. Look how the 10 touches the inner ring and the 40 on the opposite side touches the outer ring.
