...visit to Davis Jewelers in Louisville...

...TODAY, Latrodectus and I headed north for the best part of the morning and early part of the afternoon to Divis Jewelers...Rolex AD in Louisville, KY.

...what a F A N T A S T I C bunch of folks!!

...we spent every bit of 3 hours in there, Fred looking at, or should I say........ D R O O L I N G........all over himself for a new ceramic GMT, while I made friends with Ashley Davis.

...she and I exchanged so much info, and we did in fact talk also about Tudor's!

...I showed her a few of my vintage 14K and 18K Tud's, and a few of my pure bred Roliies for discussion.

...the interesting thing, they did NOT have any Presidential models on display.

...likewise, they did not have any Milgauss on display. HOWEVER, when we confronted her about them, she quickly retrieved them from the safe. They have/are only selling the Milgauss, basically, to people from their customer base (repeat buyers).

...anyway, I could NOT pry the GMT ceramic from Fred's hands to look at it...

...we told them we are coming in force (however many of us TRF'ers show-up for the GTG) on the 14th of May to their humble place of business etc.

...these folks are the NICEST folks you would ever want to do business with!!!

...can't wait for the 14th of May!

...SORRY gang, but BOTH Fred and I forgot the damned cameras again...can you believe it?? Old freaking age, I guess.

Stan.

Hi Stan,

Again it sounds like you and Latrodectus had a great time together.

I am shocked that the AD is treating the Milgauss like a Daytona?? Locked away in a safe for special customers when most AD can't sell them at a discount. (other than GV though I was offered discount for that too)

Can you move KY a little closer to Brooklyn and I will meet you guys for the GTG.

I almost stopped at Davis but I first went to Merkley Kendrick and they were awesome - it's where I bought my SD. Great to hear that there are 2 good ADs in Louisville.
