Tudor P01 availability

Are people now seeing these in stock at their ADs?

My AD received one for each of the two stores they have. He told me not to expect large numbers on this watch. I got the one from my AD and at best I can say I am neutral on it. Cool looking in a way but does not fit well. The metal links that the strap attaches with cause the watch to be too long and flat for the wrist in my opinion. I may keep it for the collection but it does not get the wrist time a new watch typically gets.

I got mine from Goldsmiths and they told me that they had received 5 initially across their group. I guess Tudor will want to try and pitch this as a hard to get piece but as ever, the market will decide.

I am very happy with mine as I really wanted something a bit different for my collection and this certainly fits that brief!!

I think it looks great on you. What wrist size are you?

I hope you eventually bond with it better

I think it’s a really interesting piece

Reminds me of......

They could very well be right regards availability, as you say time will tell
So cool you appreciate it’s uniqueness. If they continue the prototype line it will be very interesting

Seems a few spots in Europe had it on display but I’m not aware it’s sitting around anywhere else

Anyone else managed to spot the elusive prototype?

Saw and tried one on at my AD this past weekend. They said they were only getting like 5 (something like that, I forget). The watch is neat, though it’s not my thing. I don’t want to spend good money on something I don’t want just because it’s hard to get atm.

Definitely not. Buy cause you love. Wear cause you enjoy

Saw one sitting in an AD case over the weekend.

This won't be a FOMO piece and I expect it to be easy to obtain @ a decent discount in the near future.

The design is just too
polarizing for it gain traction as a "hawt" watch.

It does look nice in the flesh however.

Anyway thanks for your "vision"

I’m sorry I don’t remember you..

But CHNR has defied the TT odds and held above retail. I’m pleased you made a grand or two off it or whatever..

If you think the P01 is going to get “hawt”....then go get em. They are in the cases ready for the flip...the fact it’s a new release sitting in the display case kinda proves my point. Since I saw one sitting there myself, I guess my vision is pretty good.

I saw one at my local Tourneau. If it's readily available there, you gotta think its not a hard one to get.

You don't remember me but you are pleased I made a "grand or two" off the CHNR which is sitting in my watch box looking very nice indeed thank you. I buy watches to keep and enjoy - novel concept maybe?

I don't care if the P01 is going to get "hawt" as I am really not sure what "HAWT" might mean but it is unlikely to be important.

It is going to be fairly limited in the UK and I can at least, I think, agree with you that it is a watch that will polarise opinion.

For me, and I am admittedly quite contrary, the fact that the masses may not like this piece is a big attraction.

Why?

They are sitting in cases, upon release. That’s not limited.

Just go get one...I might too. Then we can bicker about something else.

Your analysis was solid and correct.

Two-tone have always been slow sellers. There is more allocation.

In my entire watch collecting history a two tone has never outperformed steel, or all gold, or been difficult to get, etc etc. Daytona, Submariner, GMT. It doesn't matter.

The CHNR looks good and came at the perfect time to just be SLIGHTLY beating out all that drag. For the time being.

I have always been in the CHNR can be had at retail and eventually a discount camp.

Time will tell.

Thank you

You said it much better than I did as to what has happened in the past and why the CHNR is a bit of an anomaly in the market.

One here in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I don't often get to say that!!

Tried it on, there is something about it that I like but it felt too long for me....and my daily is a Deepsea so I am very used to big watches.

I saw one sitting in the case at my AD, felt much longer and unwieldy compared to my Pelagos.

Pretty sure these will be easy to get with a discount.

Hey!

I got mine...how bout you?

Seriously though, supply may be different in your part of the world but here in the UK the biggest Tudor dealer got 5 (all allocated) and they don't know when they are getting any more.

Haven't seen one yet in my neck of the woods...which is kind of surprising, actually. I would be more surprised, though, if one hasn't made an appearance by Christmas.

Apparently...200+

Any of your AD mentioned anything about the supply run for this? I heard it'll be a very short run because of some manufacturing issues that led to cost being really high (and delayed delivery too), which is why they're not going to make too manyof it.

My local Goldsmiths has 2 on the list. I was told I might get one in the new year. I'm getting rather fed up with the games being played now.
