Oyster Bracelet Question

I am new to the forum. I have a Submariner Model 16803. The bracelet is not correct. Rolex will not service my watch without replacing the bracelet. The bracelet and the clasp do not match. The end pieces are 493. The 93153 is the correct bracelet for my watch. I'm not sure about the end pieces. Does anyone know what the correct end pieces should be? Rolex wants $4,800.00 for a matching bracelet.

Can you not send it back for a service without the bracelet?

Why are you servicing it, is it not running correctly?

If you like the watch no need to change the bracelet

As above send the bugger in sans braclet and tell em to do one.

I sent an OP in once and they wouldn't service it as it had an aftermarket Spring bag in it.

I love the watch. It is gaining 2 minutes a day. At least I get to work early...

That would warrant a service especially if it hasn’t been service in a long while. As others have said, just send in the watch head. Good luck

So if you put a rubber strap, or nato etc. etc. not made by Rolex...they wont service the watch? Never heard of that.....and I don’t believe it.

Of course they will. Perhaps you are asking the wrong people what Rolex will do.

Rolex will service any watch that is authentic, even if you send it in on a leather strap, or without one at all.

This makes sense, like it's illegal or you'd be shunned to put your watch on a leather strap! Mismatched Rolex bracelet parts, that sounds like a no- no. Too bad if they wouldn't make it correct with what it only needs instead of a whole new bracelet.
