Explorer 1 & What else ?
I have trimmed down my meager collection and decided to keep my Explorer 1
Looking for a 2nd watch - to wear in rotation - As much as I love dive watches [just sold SMP & Pelagos ] I'd like a White dial - Nothing too dressy - wear at work which is mostly desk & Sales - occasionally load / unload trucks . Looking at OP 39 White [ afraid it's too similar to exp 1 - but may not be a bad thing ] DJ 41 White smooth bezel / Jubilee - this gives date , new mov't , different bracelet - size is marginal for me [but it works ]- not a fan of Cyclops Explorer ll polar - interesting option but probably too large and don't want an older version [ bracelet , clasp is important to me ] Considered Habring 2. But not around locally to see Open to any Brands as long as they are well made , quality - between 38- 41mm Price under 8k less is better |

I have both the 214270 & 114300 (white dial) they work for me!

That white dial OP is stunning. But I’m still struggling with it being too similar to my 214270. Bracelets look very much alike but the OP lacks EasyLink (which I use a lot).
If a Daytona is outside the realm of the possible (it has a beautiful white dial and a great on wrist presence, though it is made of unobtanium) you might consider NOMOS or Grand Seiko who both make nice white dialed options. Good luck! |

You should be able to order an Easylink pretty easily for the OP39 since you already own an Exp1. Check with the close ADs and hopefully they don’t put up a fight. I told them I wanted to order a spare (for my GMT Master, but an Exp1 is even better since it’s fully brushed) and they didn’t really question it. It should cost $81.
I did this recently and have both the Exp1 and OP39 white, and I think they make an amazing duo. While similar, they do have different personalities. The case size and shape is perfect for my wrist, and Iike that I don’t have to fear the inevitable scratching of PCLs. I also own a Polar 16570, which would be a good option, but they’re getting more expensive, they have the old style bracelet, and most will require a movement service soon (the newest ones are close to a decade old now I believe). |

I think pairing with a snowflake would be a great combo! In fact, I am thinking about it myself.
Or, a speedmaster? |

Explorer 1 & What else ?
I think a 16570 is a natural pairing. I have a BB36 instead of the Explorer but the idea is similar
Edit: it would be worth at least trying on the 16570 despite your concerns. The difference in the bracelet/clasp is overblown imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a easy link on order with my AD for a while now - anticipating the OP 39 purchase
The Seiko Snowflake was a solid contender. seemed a bit thick off wrist , clasp didn't have many micro adjustments Had a Nomos - Nice but wore small - I'd prefer a bracelet |

Think the DJ 41 would be the one to have

DJ 36 or 41.
OP is too similar to Explorer1. Also, it would make sense to get a watch with date and different bracelet to have some diversity and utility.

I suggest going to an AD to try on the white OP and some DJ’s (some are stunning). And then to a jewelry exchange to try on some sport models.
Then let your heart and wallet make a decision. You will have greater satisfaction from choosing the next watch that you love as much as your Explorer and not a different piece just for the sake of something different. Happy hunting and take pics of what you chose. |

After Exp1, hard to pick a second watch since it goes with everything. I think DD is the way to go. Rose gold.

I wish I could find any of these at local AD.
I had a blue OP 39. Still wondering why I sold it ? The case size on the OP 39 & Explorer are spot on for me Tried a DJ41 over summer fit better than expected but black dial so passed on it |

Not a whole lot of white dials in the Rolex range.
The OP39 might be too similar to the Explorer 1, so your choice would either be an EXP 2 Polar 42mm or the 40mm 16570 also makes the white pop with the red GMT hand. Another choice would be the white Milguass. |

If you're in sales, I'd consider a Calatrava or a Reverso. Both ooze class.

126300 or 114300 fit the criteria, but a 116500 or 116520 would best.
