AD in SF bay area
Is there any Solid AD in the bay area? I have my name on the list at Kerns and Davidson & Licht but so far have never heard back. Its been over a month now. I have my name down for a CHNR, BLNR, GMT II, hulk, submariner, or submariner date. I know its a slim chance but I wanted to buy my first rolex at an AD. Thanks!
I called bhindi and they blew me off and also called Shreve and co, which was an even worse experience. |

I am providing an update to this post. Now unfortunately over a year has passed, while I have no purchase history I have stopped by a few times to discuss watches and browse. Still no call, I never imagined it would be this challenging to purchase from an AD. Would appreciate any tips that might help me in my effort or any contact if willing to share.
Thanks Kindly |

Buy via a trusted seller here. I waited almost 4 years for a white dial 116500LN from a San Francisco AD. Always got the "we will contact you" speech. Finally said f it. Found a bnib and got it next day. Never looking back.

You need to go in to the AD don’t call them. Strike up a conversation. Explain who you are, talk about your job, why you want an expensive watch, etc etc. don’t appear to just be another “flipper”. There’s no rhyme or reason but you have to physically go in there and talk to them. Also don’t pick and choose every single high demand watch that goes over msrp. That’s a red flag for them. They say to build a relationship and that doesn’t necessarily mean buy a bunch of random stuff from them. If they had 100 submariners they could sell them within an hour, make yourself standout as to why they should sell one to you. Good luck.

I'm in Marin and got a 2020 Sub w date from AD in SF out of the blue when I wanted to cancel my OP39 order.
Then I called Sherve in SF and got the DJ41 smooth bezel on jubilee blue dial I've been looking for. |

Thanks for these helpful details!! Looks like clearly I need to be more persistent in my efforts as well as more targeted and focused to make this happen. Appreciate the motivation here.
