Black Dial Daytona Dial change

I live in the UK , Can I pay to have the dial changed on my Daytona 500 , it’s black and a nightmare to read with my eyesight , I think white May be easier

Can I have it serviced and request a dial change ,I totally get it will cost but getting a new white ceramic is unlikely

I though about maybe PX my black for a white as well but like the idea of its mine and my name on the card

I think RSC might be willing to do the swap, others here might know for sure

I know that is possible on some models, not sure about the Daytona. Please do note, legibility on the white is not what I would call awesome.

I asked about this at St James Square.

I was told that it is possible in theory, but they don’t have any spare dials. This was some months ago though.

UK had a 1 year ownership rule before a dial change and I really don't think they want to do this, might as well ask and see but narrow chance, esp to go to the white dial.

I have had the watch since June 2018

For my DD and DJ, I had both dials swapped to white. Used RSC to do it. They’ll tell you what’s available. They required a service, so I waited until the watches needed to be serviced. I have found that the white is very easy to read.

Check Ebay, and other watch parts sites, just make sure you hang on to the original dial.

Yes, they will do it for a fee, and they will keep the old dial. Worth IMO.

I’d give the black dial one a 2/10 and the white dial one a 3.5/10

I was told it could be swapped once off warranty. I sold my Black 500 for the same reasons, very hard to read. Bought a BLRO, much easier to read.

Sorry OP, I really don’t mean to be rude but you should possibly get your eyes retested. Maybe your optical prescription needs adjusting. I can read the time on mine perfectly well and I’m slightly short sighted after spending years staring at computer monitors.

I spoke with RSC last week regarding having the same done for a DD.
They quoted me £600 for a service - maybe more for your Daytona and £550 for dial, hands and the day/date discs.
Also said that with Christmas fast approaching the turnaround would be 8 weeks.

I have just spoken to RSC UK , this isn't possible , basically buy the watch in the configuration you like it, any other model it is possible though

I would think this would hurt the value of the watch, given the warranty card would say white dial. Might make it hard to sell it you ever needed to as the watch wouldn't match up.

It’s also a straight up no on the SS Sky Dweller, the green dial Daytona and a few others.

Basically if it’s a ‘profitable’ dial combination, you can’t build your own. They aren’t stupid.

Not surprised, they don't need any business now and expect everything is a flat no whenever there is any doubt.

I may see if my local AD Will px it for a White Dial .

I’m sure I can sell it for more than the £9550 I paid for it but don’t expect I could replace it

A PX may work
