Liar liar pants on fire

The seller states that this Bell & Ross is a BR01 - 92 Phantom, which is a limited edition. In reality, what he is selling is a BR03 - 92 Phantom, which is NOT limited, smaller, and less expensive. The limited edition does not have a date - this one does. Also, on the caseback it clearly states BR03-92. I don't believe this seller even has the said watch!

I emailed him and he made the correction, but I still find it odd that this guy is selling something out of 'his collection' and does not know a difference between a really rare watch and an everyday BR....

I know nothing about these watches but I am glad the seller listened to you and made the needed correction.

I still feel odd about this one.... It is like if you were selling a regular Milgauss and advertised that you are selling a GV from your own collection.... ODD!

Sounds like he was hoping for a newbie to take his word for it? And not a knowledgeable buyer who would know the difference between the two.

Or a simple mistake?

Hell if I know.... My spidey sense was tingling though... Maybe I am just paranoid, but one would DEFINITELY know the difference between a $4000 watch and a $6500 watch, a 42mm and a 46mm, a limited edition and non-limited, etc., especially if he is selling it out of his own collection, as he states...

He just sold this one on March 6th from his personal collection: Bell & Ross BR-03-94 Nylon strap, 325ft./100m.
