Opinions Please on 43SD 126603
Hello everyone. I need your opinions. Two tone 43 Sea Dweller (126603) or two tone GMT Master II (116713)?

I’ve got both and will always have a special spot for the TT GMT as it was my first Bi-Metal but the new SD43 is a very nice watch and sometimes I really like the bigger size...it depends on what you think feels more comfortable!
Overall, a GMT gives me more useable functionality. If you’re looking to buy new then the SD43 is the only choice unless you consider the RG CHNR GMT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have had both. Didn't keep TT Rootbeer. Preferred the SD size, weight, functionality of bezel, glidlock clasp. I always prefer the Diver over GMT. Hard to judge except in person as both watches will surprise you and both are phenomenal pieces. SD may be easier to acquire as well

Of the two I would go TT SD43. I am not a huge fan of TT but over the years I have owned most of them. I currently don't own a TT watch but could be back in for the right watch. I don't know what that watch is though.

I like the TT SD43 ...it’s a first TT for the SD line ever....destined to be a very special watch in the SD history.

Really depends on you and your tastes...since I am sure you're going to get a pretty even split with guys here.
With my lifestyle (I travel a lot, work overseas often, don't dive) I am going to pick the GMT as I would get the most use out of it and the size is perfect for me. However, if you are one that does not need to track multiple time zones, and you can easily use the outer bezel as a timer in your daily life - then rock the SD. |

IMO the GMT Master just works so well in TT, like a DJ. I think the SD43 is a unique watch, but not quite understated enough for me and also I prefer my large sports watches to be SS

GMT in two tone all day. Two tone on the SD looks out of place IMO

Between the two I prefer the SD43 TT. I own the 126600 and it's such satisfying piece on the wrist. My next Rolex might very well be a SD43 TT, but I'm waiting for a blue dial iteration I like to call the "Big Bluesy".
The CHNR colour combo does nothing for me. |

Anything about the SD is special at this moment. It's the first Anniversary version, first 43mm size, first SD with cyclops... It's a special watch to own in steal or TT. The GMT has an excellent function for travelers or for those like me who have half of his family living away. A great feature to have that second timezone at a glance. These are 2 different watches that your really look into, see in the metal and decide.

SD. Two tone bling might as well go with the bigger watch. Plus I like the updated glidelock and rating of the SD

I have the SD TT in part because they cancelled the GMT LN TT which I was considering. The SD43 is a great looking watch, wears relatively comfortably and is unique in the TT lineup for its size.
As to which of the GMT LN or SD TT is nicer, I can’t answer.
