New Explorer at Basel?

Anyone think that a new Explorer might come out at Basel which is why there was no price increase on the current 214270?

Possible but I think Rolex didn't increase their base prices so kept OP 39 and Explorer same as earlier. So it appears that Rolex base prices are still same and they didn't move it next level market. Tudor is below $5700 and then OP 39 is $5700 and Explorer is at $6550.

Its one of the most iconic models. Changes are difficult to happen

Not in 2020. I predict a new Explorer II (III?) in 2021, its 50th anniversary year.

I doubt it. We’ve seen far too many updates in recent years, and Rolex has demonstrated time and again that they’ll permit anniversaries can come and go without anything to commemorate them.

Explorer II would be amazing if they added a ceramic bezel. It would instantly be the most sought after watch in the lineup other than the Daytona.

Imo there is zero % chance the explorer changes. Last update was 2016, it’s too early.

Agree with this reasoning.
