Rolex Two-Tone Datejust 16013 where to get service

Father gave me his 36mm Rolex Two-Tone Datejust White Dial 16013. Never been serviced, should I go with RSC or an independent? Only RSC providers around me would be jewelry centers like Ben bridge Etc in So Cal from what I see.
thanks

No reason why you can't go to an independent watchmaker for straight-forward servicing on a 3035 movement on a 16013. If you are in SoCal, I suggest Shant's in Pasadena. He serviced two 3035s for me and they still keep excellent time after two years.

Any component watch maker should be able to service your watch. If you post the city that you live in and ask for recommendation here, I am sure many will point you to the right direction. Good luck

It's a 5 digit DJ, so if you do go to rsc, no biggie. Depends if you want a new looking watch or if you want to preserve its visible history. Rolex will make it look like a watch produced last week, if you're into that.
