Help buying a fat lady

Hi,
I’m very new to the forum and have been looking to buy a vintage-ish GMT.
I really like the 16760 fat lady and have finally found one for sale for a reasonable-ish price (£10k).
I wondered if anyone could help me with this one I’ve seen. Does it look genuine? I’ve never seen a bezel insert this dark red/brown. (I kind of like it).
Also, the clasp doesn’t have a Rolex coronet on, does this mean it an aftermarket replacement, or could it still be genuine Rolex?
Also, does £10k seem reasonable for it? It’s got a box, but no papers.
Thanks in advance.

I would look elsewhere, this is overpolished. The crown guards have been ruined along with the thin lugs.

Case is completely ruined by polishing.

Thanks for all your help guys. I’ll definitely pass on it. I think I need to fine tune my eye to notice the over polishing!

On that note, any thoughts on this 16710? It’s for sale for £7.5k. Has it been similarly over polished, and any other comments?

Thanks

Case is nicer but dial and probably hands and insert are service pieces so I personally wouldn’t touch it

Take a look at the 2's - insert is fake. Just because of that I would find another example elsewhere. Plenty of 16710's on the market (16760s, on the other hand, are getting more scarce...)

The 16710 looks ok. Has been polished, but not to destruction.

Insert as mentioned not genuine, but pop that sucker out and head to an AD and tell them it fell out. A genuine 16710 bezel insert is very cheap.

For a perfect fat lady you will need around 17k€ nowdays...I'd better go for a perfect 16710 or 16700 around 11k€..

This one is 18.5k€ https://www.instagram.com/p/B7iysj3IDuc/

This one is 22.5k€ https://www.worldoftime.de/en/rolex.....17-28002.html

The first is a famous french dealer I know...if you search and are not in a hurry, you will find yours for sure !

Thanks....yeah, I feel like a decent fat lady is out of my price range sadly. I actually contacted that french guy a few days ago on instagram to find out the price of that one.
So, I have started to focus on 16710s. I've found one that I'm really keen on....I like the lume patina and how the red on the bezel isn't quite so bright as some.
It's from 1994. Any thoughts on it regarding over polished case, and any other red flags would be greatly appreciated.
(I did post it on another post, so sorry for the duplication, but not many people responded!)
Thanks for everyone's help.
