1981 16753 serial number

I wanted to buy a birth watch 1981 16753 nipple dial two tone black and gold.

What would be the appropriate serial number for a 1981 version of this watch?

There is no definitive list because Rolex does not release the information but here is a link to a list that was compiled by members here.

According to it, a 1981 piece falls between serial numbers 6594000-7129350. You are probably safe if you concentrate between 6.6-7.0 million.
