My ROO crown came off
Hello
I am in Toronto, Canada And my crown from ROO came off few days ago. I was turning it and suddenly the whlole crown with long stem came off and kind of worried. Will it be an expensive fix? Where should i take it? Did bit of research but cant find right answer other than a guy in Ottawa for a fix. Hope its not serious, any advice will be greatly appreciated. Wondering if i can take it to a highend watch stores and get an easy fix. Thanks |

Unless the stem is broken, it's a quick fix. You should get it back in 2 weeks time or less.

Usually that is the queue for full service. As per usual I advice against taking any modern AP to a independent.
You seem to have two retailers in town, https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/boutiques/

It's a quick fix for a watchmaker unless something is actually broken. Stems are made to go in and out so that you can remove the movement from the case. A small screw or spring loaded pin holds it in and sometimes comes loose.

Had the same issue with my RO. Wanted to set the time and the crown and stem came out. Took it an Omega certified watchmaker (at own risk) who fixed it in <5min.

Had that happen to my 44CE. Sent it in to APSC and got it back in less than a month.

As someone already said, the 'guy' in Ottawa is the Canadian Authorized AP service centre. If under warranty they will send you a shipping label. |

Reading these posts scare me :(
Its also good to know, if it falls out... don't try to push it back in as it could damage the movement. |

Happened twice to my 15400. Don't push it back in. I did and it didn't break anything but it still wont work. Only down side is if the watch hasn't been serviced in the last 5 years you'll have to pay for service. That being said the crown will be fully replaced and you'll get a two year warranty and leather travel case so its not all bad. Same with the pushers on the ROO.
