Got some new leather for my Tudor

When getting my Tudor it came with the steel strap but was looking for some nice leather to swap to and settled on a nice but cheap one and then and then landed at ABPConcept for a super nice alligator strap with red stitching to match the bezel ring so off with the old and on with the new.

Looks nice, but I find with the case thickness of the BB they look better with endlinks if you put it on leather.

I got some from George Yeo. He was on this forum, but you'll find him on ebay too.

He'll make to order if there isn't a current listing.

I searched for custom end links and came up with these so are these the ones and what keeps them in place, I assume they attach the same as the steel bracelet

They don't actually attach to the watch, they just sit between the lugs and the strap holds them in place.

Pictures might show it better.

The link you provided was from George. The price may seem a little steep, but they're very nicely machined, and as you can see from my last photo, are of similar quality and fit to the original end links.

Cool...cool... and thanks so much for posting those pics and that explains a lot, I assume they are not loose once the leather strap is in place with the spring bars ?

I can only assume that there is plenty of clearance that allows a thicker leather strap to be pushed in far enough to get the spring bars secured and once secure are they snug or loose.

@Cryten I went ahead and ordered a set and thanks for the info on these, I also had a few messages back and forth with George Yeo and he sent some pics as well so looking forward to getting them and giving my BB a more finished looks and will post up some pics when they get here.

Strap thickness can be a limitation, but I can fit even my thickest strap with a little persuasion, and the end links are never loose.

@Cryten thanks again for suggesting these links, yes they are kinda pricy for what they are but in the scheme of things it will give my watch a more finished look and they have already shipped but coming from a fair distance away but hoping it only takes a week or so to get.

BTW where did you get that padded watch pillow at, I think having a raised surface like that when changing bracelets would be a big benefit.

It's a case cushion, they're for sale everywhere Amazon/ebay/Esslinger etc

It's essential when using spring bar pliers. With the correct technique (and a case cushion) it's literally impossible to scratch the watch.

I have not been using one to change bracelets and the case tends to slide around on the microfiber towel I’ve been using but have one in my cart now with Esslinger along with a few other small items

Today was a good day, received my links from overseas and the fit and finish are top notch, they are machined perfectly and tolerances are very precise, they were a tad pricy for what they are but they give the watch a more finished appearance and I’m so glad they were suggested by Cryten, the first couple pics are before the links.
