Have someone offering my Explorer II black dial for a TT SD43 and I need to give him 10,800 CAD which is about 8200 USD

WHATS YOUR OPINION?

Based on new models and Aussie dollars that is about line ball.

Choose the model you like best.

If you want the two tone Sea Dweller that’s not a bad deal

I will never do this for a TT SD43. I prefer full steel SD, even then not a SD43. The Explorer II is a better watch IMO.

Of the two, I like the TTSD43 better than the Exp2.

My only issue is the scratch issue on the links of the TT. It would drive me nuts.

Is your Exp2 the old 40mm or the 42 mm????

I'd say the Exp2 is worth $10000, and offer $8000 CAD cash for that TTSD43.

I saw one over on the CWC forums in Canada. Dude has been trying to sell it for a couple of months now. I think he finally sold it last week.

It's not an easier mover. You'd have a heck of a lot easier selling you EXP2 in Toronto than the TTSD43.

Explorer II 216570 42 MM

Trade for the TT SD43 plus 10,800.

I feel like EXP II is too similar to GMT

Why do you want the TT SD43? It’s a BIG and FLASHY watch....

Mmm, big and flashy are subjective. I don’t think it is either and own one.

Get what sings to you. As you state, if you don’t wear your Explorer II and desire a TT SD43, make a deal.

I love my SD and very happy with it!

Ultimately I wanted a two tone GMT years ago the yellow gold, they’re now discontinued and I can’t find one anywhere for a decent price.

I would although consider a RootBeer but the guy wants the same money for the SD43. That’s what confuses me.

I know it’s a get what you want type of post at the end of the day but just trying to see if the value is there aswell!
