Incoming!

Seems like an inordinate amount of incoming threads for these lately, so I'll add to the bunch. Had a black Deepsea a while back, and I missed it, so went for this. Just as comfy as I remember it!

They're so much better in person than in pictures. And they're awesome in pictures. Congrats

Congratulations!

Beautiful Rolex with a striking dial and I love the green font on blue background. What else do you need on a proper dive watch than green and blue. I recently purchased a new Sea Dweller and it’s a little heavy and thick, but I love it.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thickness

I want this watch, have big enough wrist to support it. Question is how thick is it really?? I don’t “dive” but think this thing is awesome!

When you're used to a Sub, it'll feel thick. It is. But it's supposed to be. Substantial,... that word fits better than thick. And with that dial, with domed crystal. Amazing. And waaaaay more comfortable than anyone who doesn't own one can imagine.

Thank you!

A Breitling of mine is 17mm thick and I think the DSSD is 18mm, so not far off

As long as you have a good fit, it'll feel like it's not even on.

And I'm 6'2" and 225, with 7.5 in wrists... so that kind of helps

Grats! They must be shipping them all of a sudden. Because I picked mine up as well Thursday.

So far the first 3-4 hours it did feel heavy somewhat. After wearing for 15 hours yesterday, it feels completely natural and comfortable now. My wrist is 7 3/8 inches if that helps.

I even wear it when I try on other Rolexes
