My first Rolex - DSSD

Just received my first Rolex! Looked and researched for the last 8 months. Wore a Omega SM for the past 22 years so my 7" wrist is used to a big dive watch. So pumped right now! And thanks and a shout-out to DavidSW for a smooth transaction!

True classic, I got the same one, but the picture looks very unfortunate in terms of size of the watch vs your wrist. Is it the angle or does the watch really wear that big on you?

Cheers

Congratulations on the new DSSD, I love my Black 116660 too, I've also got the Rubber B band with the Rolex clasp which I swap around for a different look every so often.

Nice choice.... that was my first one too. Back then I had a choice of DSSD, SD 4K, and a Sub all to try on at the same time.

I choose the DSSD Black because it stood out against those.

You will love it.

Deepsea was my first Rolex as well, I went D-blue. Great choice of watch, and congratulations. I found that the watch wore far more comfortably for me after removing the diver extension. You may find the same, but might not need to. Wear it well!

My compliments on getting the black dial, So superior to the blue dial. The black dial is a mans man watch.

Congratulations,

I have had mine since August 2018 and it very quickly became my daily, and it goes with me everywhere.

It's so darn comfortable, yet I am always aware I am wearing it which is really nice. It's a massively under appreciated watch in my opinion, but those of us who own them know how well it wears and how special it is.
