Hodinkee is overpriced, but I can almost guarantee you that those two tools are not of the same quality.
Hodinkee usually had good stuff. They just have a crazy markup.

it's not the same.
People buy from hodinkee. As a watch collector I couldn't thank them enough for the content and advice they put out. I buy their magazines and books and occasionally accessories in support. We live in a free trade society, which means you can buy the cheaper copy! |

I've been known to overpay for something when I enjoy the rest of what a business offers me. I paid full retail price for my Panerai 560 (gasp) but then full retail price for my Daytona as well.

They are overpriced I agree. I cant believe people pay some of those prices for the stuff in their store. Crazy.
