I could post a link to a Rolex for $20k

and then a link to an Invicta for $175

and say "give me a break"

my point.....it's ironic to complain of an item being overpriced when you're on the Rolex forums....

Not the same at all---you give me a break..These are both made in the same place. One says Hodinkee and the other not. Invicta is not a Rolex at all.

Hodinkee is overpriced, but I can almost guarantee you that those two tools are not of the same quality.

Hodinkee usually had good stuff. They just have a crazy markup.

it's not the same.

People buy from hodinkee. As a watch collector I couldn't thank them enough for the content and advice they put out.

I buy their magazines and books and occasionally accessories in support.

We live in a free trade society, which means you can buy the cheaper copy!

I've been known to overpay for something when I enjoy the rest of what a business offers me. I paid full retail price for my Panerai 560 (gasp) but then full retail price for my Daytona as well.

this is pretty stupid to me.

Why can't one complain about an item being overpriced on Rolex forum?
So you are saying Rolex is over priced, when there are people in lines to get a Rolex. You sound dumb as a rock.
