I know I posted a similar thread before, however it was before I saw the new subs surely this is to much like the gmt iic and looks like a little boys version of it?
V What do you think?

I think every one of them is beautiful, and different. The Submariner and the GMT-Master II each wouldn't be what they are if the other didn't exist.

They're both fine watches, but the IIc is the classiest bezel Rolex has ever made, IMHO.

They both look great. The sub and GMT always looked similar to those unfamiliar with the brand.

I don't like TT models at all, including this one. SS Sub or GMT would be fine.

I like the GMT better just because you can set up that extra time zone or two, especially if you travel a lot. If you are a diver or into watersports, then of course the Sub is the way to go.

The Sub does not have the high gloss bezel and looks less busy.

Do I even need to say anything? GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT, GMT
I think that the GMT does this to the sub. Well at least that is my opinion. They are both a fantastic watch and both have their purpose. The sub is not for me and my heart will always belong to the GMT. |

i think they both look great. i'm more of a sub kind of guy than a gmt but i have to say the TT version of the GMT seems a little more special. hard to put a finger to it but there you go....

I happen to like the look of the TT SUB with the black bezel, it looks sharp!!!
But my first choice would still be the GMT-IIc.

I like both watches (the GMT 2c is one of the best new models in recent years IMO) but I also think the new TT Black Sub has the slight edge, appearance-wise.
I also think people who already own the S/S GMT2c and have been considering a TT purchase have now an added option. I say this because when a friend of mine who is a S/S GMTc owner saw the new Sub, he immediately identified it to be his next purchase! |
