Calling all 26120 owners
Dear fellow addicts,
I wanted to ask some of the 26120 owners to throw up some pictures and experiences with their watches. I am very interested in your ownership experience and service cost experience. For me, the piece ticks many boxes, for size, complication and it being somewhat uncommon. I have not yet seen one in person but am very interested and looking for everyone's sage advice. Thank you in advance |

The AP Dual Time is a true G. Genta 39 mm watch with a few peculiarities.
Setting the date is unusual. There’s no quick set feature of pulling the crown out then advancing the date by turning it. Instead, one sets the time to midnight to move the date forward. To advance it further you bring the time back to 9:00 pm then forward to 12:00 am to move ahead. This is repeated in the same manner until you reach the desired date. Some may find the watch face cluttered but to me, it looks elegant and functional. The 2nd time zone and date wheel are easy to read and sits well on the white tappisserie dial. The am/pm indicator, though small, is straight forward and looking at it gives a good sense of when sunrise and sunset will occur or where in the day (or night) you’re currently at. The power indicator is the largest display of them all and I glance at this quite a bit since the watch has no seconds hand moving around the perimeter of the face. I wear the piece first thing in the morning when the power meter is at zero and watch the indicator go up to full (via the natural movements of my wrist) throughout the course of the day. The power reserve is full by late afternoon and when I take it off at the end of the day, I’ll see the indicator go down to half or empty then put it back on to watch the whole process all over again. The bracelet shimmers brilliantly in light and is nothing short of a masterpiece. The clasp does not sit at center on my 6.5” wrist and is a link longer on the 12 o’clock side so it wears loose sitting below my wrist bone. Taking an additional link off makes the watch feel too tight but the clasp sits center and looks more balanced in that there are an even # of links on both sides of the watch case. The AP Dual Time Reference # 26120ST is a beautiful time piece with excellent functionality that is very comfortable and an absolute joy to wear. Mine is even more special since it was a gift from my lovely wife to commemorate a very special year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great looking watch. I'm considering a GMT Master, this and the VC Overseas Dual Time. I'm partial to AP, but wish it were more than 50m WR so I could keep it on in the pool/ocean when I travel. I've had to get a 1.5 link for my old 25860 and current 25960 to get the clasp more centered and the fit better and I also have a 6.5" wrist. I definitely like the dial more than the VC.

50 M WR is deep but if you want deeper then definitely go for the 100 M of the GMT Master. The nice thing about the AP Dual Time compared to that of VC is the single crown.
I’d like to try a 1.5 link on my watch to see if it helps with the fit and balance. Does your 25960 look more balanced and is the fit more snug or loose? Mind letting me know how much it costs and where to get it? Very much appreciate the reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you for the Pic, thats the color im considering, most of the reasonably priced and good condition models seem to be the white dial right now...but also dont have any other white dial pieces so thats a plus!
