Who here does or would daily a RO?
As per the title, what are people’s thoughts on this please as someone who is yet to own a steel RO? Are they robust enough to daily?

I’ve been wearing my 15500 daily for almost a month now. To and from office with just casual day to day wear it’s perfectly ok. I’d endorse it!
Weekend around the yard playing with the kiddos is when I’ve been switching to my Explorer II |

I wear my 15500 daily at work and enjoy having that on my wrist every time. I wear long sleeve everyday.

Not sure about daily for all conditions, but I wear my ROC pretty consistently with a rubber strap. Bezel still requires either not caring or some wrist awareness (vs say a Sub which I wear with no wrist awareness concerns).

I wear my ROC maybe not daily but that's only because I rotate with my GMTc. For typical daily tasks of an officeworker its fine

Depends on what you do on a daily basis, but my ROC has been my most worn watch during the work week for the past two years. You can wear a RO just as you would wear any other high-end mechanical watch - that is, try not to subject it to vibrations/shock, but it'll be fine for normal daily wear for most people. Also, the perception that ROs get scratches easily is overstated. All watches with polished surfaces will get scratches if you wear them. If anything, I think I get more scratches on the polished portions of my Rolexes than on my APs.

I’ve been wearing my 15500 every day during the week (and occasionally on the weekends) for the past 2 months. No issues with scratches or dings to my eyes!

When I finally get all the RO's I want, I will definitely be dailying at least one or two of them.
The RO is quite versatile, durable, reliable. Can't see why not. |

absolutely! i’ve been wearing my 15450 every day since i got it around 1.5yrs ago. only times i’ve taken it off is when i went bouldering to avoid bashing it to the wall and when i played golf after two hits i decided to take it off just to be safe. apart from that it hasn’t left my wrist, not even for the multiple snowboarding trips i’ve been on, and it’s been great. i think it’s an amazing everyday watch.

I daily my 44ROO PoG, prior to that either my RG44 or my Panda 44 with a CE Diver mixed in on occasion. At the least something AP on everyday.

I've worn my APs daily for the last 7 years. ROs will pick up scratches but a little wrist awareness goes a long way.

In college I used to chase tornados in Oklahoma. Crazy, I know. But I would easily wear my RO if I owned it back then. Alas I ended up selling it but not for durability issues.

Same, I have a 42mm ROO ti and daily wear it. Not even delicately, I ride citi bikes in it, throw the ball with my dog, and the mta subway poles haven't even dinged it up. It is a great watch and with ti it is so light and don't need to worry about scratches.
My coworker has worn his 15202 for years. he is a little more conscious of scratching it, but not so much that he keeps it locked up. |

Yip I rock my 15400 almost every day (have other watches that want wrist time too)! Defo easy to wear it everyday.

I alternative my sub and 15400 as my daily wearers. Both are great daily wearers, but one is bomb proof and is worn while doing anything remotely physical like yard work, moving large stuff, etc.
AP’s are perfectly fine daily wearers for a normal day in the life. Id personally take it off if rummaging through my garage and fixing things, though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I wear my 15500 most days, but very wrist aware with it on. It's picking up a few nice scuffs along the way, although you can only see them in the right light ;-)
