AD in Tampa

Hey Team just passing this along.

At Mayors they have a two tone gold face Daytona, 41mm blue roman dial with oyster(beautiful blue), and a few yactmasters in 44mm.

I know these aren't the rarest.

It’s called the “Mark of Mayors” - sort of like Zorro’s fame.

Nicholas @ Mayors Tampa has always done a fine job resizing, which salesperson was it that botched it up?

Brother assuming the end of the world isn’t coming in the next six months or so we should have a meet up down at the international mall. We could do coffee or maybe even a lunch at cheesecake factory. Also visit our friends at Mayors.

LETS MAKE PLANS for a GTG!

Name the night / time and let's do this :)

BTW: Here's a report with pics from a private event EnjoyTheMusic.com did during FLAX 2020 luxury audio show in February at Mayors Jewellers in Tampa. Please allow me to humbly thank Mayors / Watches Of Switzerland as they truly rolled out the Red Carpet... and sold about 4 to 6 timepieces too!

PS: It's been a month since procuring the last timepieces from Mayors Jewellers... am already getting the itch

I recently purchased the exact Daytona pictured above. It does not go unnoticed even to a novice eye. It shows extremely well on my wrist. One of the best combos in a Daytona I feel.

I’m in. It would need to be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for me.

Cool, lemme call my contacts at Mayors and see what's possible... then will start a new thread here on TRF.

Figure 20 people? How many showed up last time there was a gtg?

We must have had 50 people about 12 years ago or so. Several came in from England. Jeff Hess showed up.

Bought my Sub from that store in 2012 but they basically don't give me a lot of attention otherwise. I was there a couple of days ago and I don't think they had any of those left. I ended up buying my first Panerai and I'm pretty excited about it. Been lusting after a white face Daytona for a couple years and decided to focus my energy elsewhere. Turns out there is a whole other world out there past Rolex.

I'm up for a gathering in Tampa!

I was there over the weekend. They had a Deap Sea. Sounds like it's gone.

Am waiting for everyone to chill on the social distancing, plus Rolex and other brands flowing with the inventory. Then YES I'll schedule a date :)

Am guestimating September or October, as August is usually back-to-school month and so don't want to interfere with family plans. Hope this works for many here :)

PS: Second wave of CV19 is happening now, so that'll settle down in a month or so.

I go there all the time but I’m really not a fan of their customer service. Also prefer to keep a few other things in about that place.

I’m down to hang out with other Tampa guys though. Just let me know of any plans.

Have you found better service elsewhere in the area? I’ve been working with them and have been pleased, but they don’t have the watch I want yet.
