Well, Phil Mickelson wears his during every competetive round. I don't the watch is affected, but wearing it during his round does cause him to choke like a dog on a chicken bone when the tourney is on the line.

I wear mine while playing golf. I typically play around twice a month and the watch had no issues during that time.

Rolexes are built to withstand shocks and the like so I do not see why you can't play golf wearing one!!!
