Tudor Snowflake

Being sold locally , bracelet is cheap replacement so its just a sale for the head. Hands relumed poorly or fakes?, pip and insert probably replacements?, case and dial look ok to me in my novice opinion. I know the photos arent the best and i dont have pictures between the lugs yet but what do you guys think? anything else jumping out and what should be the cut off price for a watch in this condition. Thanks in advance.

The serial number and reference number seem to be correct in terms of the appearance of the watch, albeit the pictures lack detail to say with confidence. The bezel insert looks to be service or aftermarket. The one pictured below is from the mid 1970s same reference number and serial # 960XXX. I hope this helps, good luck!

PERSONALLY i'd hold out for a blue snowie

That being said, better pictures would help - dial looks good, but the rotor looks like it's a replacement - here's what mine looks like with a 881xxx serial number

THat one is probably a service replacement, but without seeing the movement number (under the balance wheel) can't tell if the movement is correct. If you can get a better shot of the movement, the number under the balance wheel should be 2784. In the image below i've highlited the movement number -

and better shots of the model # and serial number between the lugs, looking for the font style used, and if the "E" in Stainless Steel have the middle horizontal leg shorter than the top and bottom horizontal bars

FWIW

Be careful.

Looks fake to me.

- bezel insert 100% fake
- crown also 100% fake
- dial looks questionable to be honest even with that poor quality photo
- hands looks questionable too
- movement looks like typical eta with fake tudor rotor on it.

If that doesn't make you think twice....

Yeah the poor quality photos dont help but its all he has provided me with, the serial and ref numbers threw me off when he finally sent them, they looked off imo along with the hands and insert.
appreciate all the opinions and info guys, keep them coming

^^^^^ Spot on

Crown is oversized, fake.

On the case, even with lousy photos the undersides of Crown Guard are totally fake (tops are too)
