Would AP replace a sapphire crystal alone, without a service/overhaul?
Good day all,
I was wondering if AP would do so, and if anyone has had it done before? My RO crystal has some deep scratches/smudges by the previous owner (all disclosed to me prior to purchasing). The watch does not need a service, nor do I want to touch the case, and so I'm wondering if AP would replace just a sapphire crystal. Thank you in advance and stay safe everyone. |

I had a replacement ceramic bezel after a month of ownership, I bought the watch brand new. I needed a service and water resistance test.

No. I asked a few years ago when I scratched my ROO crystal. Good news is crystal replacement is included in service cost. Chrono pushers and crown is also included except for Pt and RG.

Perhaps they will be a little more accommodating in the future to just a crystal change. I will certainly ask, but will be prepared to be let down and have to do a full overhaul. Thank you gents for the help. |
