I definitely prefer the bracelet but as long as you're happy that's all that matters!

It looks okay I prefer the Bracelet it comes with. If you could please let me know how you like it after a few days that would be nice.

I was just thinking about possibly getting a Kevlar strap for mine to check it out. If i do ya’ll know you will be seeing pictures.

great strap !

i like it, especially the thickness as it "rounds" right up to the lugs - perfect !

it looks better than I thought it would be. The thick strap goes along with the squarish looking case. Overall watch looks balanced. I think it's a good move because you can easily remove the strap and put the bracelet back on.

Nice, but let us know how hard it is to take off the leather. Looks pretty tight.

I'm going to come right out and say that I think it looks hideous, but I admire your willingness to experiment and DIY attitude!

It is a matter of taste.... Have you tried to put it on a Nylon "nato"...?

great on giving it a go but I have to say there are two watch companies that make the best bracelets for their watches and their watches benifit from having them Rolex and Breitling, there are certain models that work with leather though. the Daytona for Rolex and the Navitimer, seawolf and cockpit for Breitling, actually a few more Lings work well with leather as well but those I think are the ones that work best.
The Gmt though I have to say workd best with the bracelt for me, I love Rolex bracelets, a timeless classic design.
One thought, maybe a nice thick croco would be a better choice, I think the strap you have would look wonderfull on a panni though!

I had the same change on my GMT but it has lug holes and it was easy. How do you fit yours without ? Can you please show a photo of the back of the case ?

And a remark: The strap in its rotation around the pin touches the case and wears at the middle part due to its thikness. See the 6-side on mine.

Soon, I will also try a thiner blue strap with the Pepsi.

...and later the black set

Sorry but it doesn't work for me.

Maybe its the brown on black?

Most important is that you like it and who cares what we think

It's 100% reversable so why not? It looks good and it's nice to have a change now and then.

I think the strap looks okay in a kind of Conan The Barbarian way, but I think the watch itself is too big for your wrist. There's a pretty big gap under those lugs.

i like it. the leather keeps the dressy characteristics of the gmtiic, and like dP said you can go back to stainless when your done with the leather

The brown needs to be changed to black. The brown doesn't match the all-black watch.

Thank you Joeyk. That means that you have to press hard sideways the strap to get to the pin, right ?

I also have the Oyster and the Jubille, but I change them in no time via the lug holes. Without seems to be difficult !!

Hi Joey,

I have no problem with straps on Rolex watches but don't particularly like your choice of strap for that model.
Do I see some scratches on end link access slot - bad boy.
