Something I've always wondered about this forum...why not make users have a minimum number of posts prior to being able to create a new thread?

No way. Just buy a GMT.
How about a ceramic bezel on the Day Date, Datejust, and SkyDweller? Not every watch needs a ceramic bezel. |

So let’s take their last tool watch and trash it up with the same material you eat your breakfast cereal in. No, hard pass. Rolex needs to stop being lazy and create their own proprietary material which is less likely to fail than ceramics. Using 40 year old ceramics on watches is the past. I mean look at doxa, did their sub in carbon. Not that’s been around for a while too, but far more innovative then Rolex as even the case is carbon.
Let’s face it, with the kelly green pastel sub and purple BLRO the have yet to master the colors. |

Quite a few threads on this same topic.....
Anyway, if a brushed grey ceramic, sure, I think it would look great. |

Ceramic Rolex inserts have been around for nearly 15 years. I don’t think there’s been pictures on this forum of even 15 broken ones. |

I love it at 42mm and with a steel bezel. The only thing I changed was putting a glidelock clasp on it.

Why don't they just make the entire thing out of ceramic? Scratch resistance is everything when you're traversing cave networks or mountains.

I’ll be interested to see what change they bring to the model in the coming years.
I’ve been considering adding one lately, but without an AD open, I haven’t had a chance to try one on. I do admit to liking the brushed steel bezel. It’s unique to this reference and looks the part |

Found this mockup
I think I'd personally prefer the steel bezel but who knows how it might look in actuality. |

What they should really do is put a Triplock crown on it.
I'd be happy to see a ceramic bezel on it as well though. I'm neutral about the clasp - Glidelock would be nice, but I'm happy with the EL.

Most of them join forum to ask a question. If you restrict that, then they'll start posting their questions in any thread they can and hijack those threads!
